Real estate

Real estate services are provided by Amalan Mahendran, Sales Representative, The Agency, Brokerage, registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA). Real estate is not a service of Beyond The Practice or AT Financial Group; the brokerage's contact details and the detailed pages are on bettercallamal.com.

What is and is not protected

Planning. A written plan is advice, not a product, and there is no compensation fund for planning advice.

Investments. The Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF) covers client assets held at a CIRO dealer member that becomes insolvent.

If you are not satisfied, you can take an insurance complaint to the OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance (OLHI), a free and independent service, and a complaint about an agent's conduct to FSRA. A real estate complaint goes to RECO.
